Winter is still kicking around, but this is what is on the easel.....

The jar of fireflies is almost complete

Took me more than a year to get here, a lot of contemplating, staring
imagining ect ect ect. For most who know me, know that  a year and a half ago
my husband unexpectedly passed away in his sleep.  The same night the
yard was covered in fireflies that had hatched. The experience was magical
at such a sad moment.  This painting is dedicated to him, my greatest supporter.
He has been released from his earthly bounds with the fireflies into the heavens.
Miss him daily.

( That is my hand in the painting )
